Welcome back to my PINK WEBSITE.

So anyway, I’m just about finished with something new I’ll be releasing very soon. How soon? I’m aiming for within the week. Hope you guys like it.

The Street Fighter Collab is almost out, I can hardly wait! I hear there’s a TON of funny stuff in this one, and I made THREE segments for it because of how excited I was for it. This time, it was all me at the helm (Tomamoto wrote and voiced my Metal Gear Collab segment)

Uhm what have I been playing lately… Street Fighter 4 I guess. Not much to say, it’s still boring old Street Fighter. Too bad they only cared to put in 4 new characters. And it’s funny because they’re the only interesting characters. It’s like, we’ve learned so much about the fighting game formula but they still choose to cling to that old flawed system they’ve got. Whatever, it’s okay. Online play is pretty smooth.

OH! I played a shitload of Lost Planet Colonies. Like, I’m surprised I didn’t pick it up sooner, it’s way cool. Really sweet level choices, nice diversity of mechs, it’s just fun all around, it never really feels tired. The bosses are neat, everything is really fluid, I never feel like I’m like… stuck to some kind of formula. It’s just a good game. Check it out.

ROCK ON DAWG.

No More Queeros (LOLOLOLOL)

Hey so I’ve been playing No More Heroes and it’s pretty cool.

It follows a formula I am a HUGE sucker for, and that’s a series of ascending bosses. All of my favorite games have such a formula and this one does a great job at it. I love the characters and the unique patterns of each boss. Pretty slick!

I have a lot of gripes with the game, one of course being the overworld that everyone seems to hate. It’s pretty unnecessary. But everyone complains about that.

One issue I have is that Travis’s personality is really sporatic and I often find myself getting pissed off at him. This is an issue because the game tries to give you a sense of immersion (ie YOU are Travis). For example there’s a character who wants you to shake his hand and it’s obviously a trick. That alone would have been enough to tell me… don’t do it, it’s an attack! But Travis went ahead and did it, got zapped, and the guy who zapped me proceeded to laugh at me hysterically. I feel like they were trying to make me all pissed off at him for being obnoxious but I was more pissed off at Travis. If it had been something I actually did as a player and then the dude laughed at me, the effect would have been way more pronounced.

Anyway, so far I really enjoy the battle system and what not. I can do without the filler, even the levels before the bosses are pretty lame. So far they haven’t really done too much with what the game has to offer, but I’m excited to play more. The important thing is the boss fights are fun, if not draw out a little too long, but that is something I am willing to put aside considering I’m typically enjoying myself when they’re happening.

I still like Killer 7 better!
