I will officially be keeping up with my youtube account now. The days of hating it are long past since they’ve fixed every problem I ever had with them. Now expect all of my new movies being released on Youtube the day they are released on Newgrounds! Fantastic!

A new Lemon ‘n Bill episode is on the way this week, and then, THE WORLD!

No, seriously, I have a lot of awesome Girlchan stuff ahead, including the CREATE YOUR OWN GIRLCHAN CHARACTER CONTEST! The contest is ending in 4 days but I’m thinking of extending it because it’s going so well and I’d like to promote it better.

A lot is going on right now… I’m again in a situation where there are a million things going on, and they’re all exciting. First off, I took a trip to the Newgrounds office to do some major work on Puzzmosis, which is coming along fabulously. NO I don’t have a date on when it’s going to be released but rest assured it hasn’t been forgotten and it’s almost done.

Girlchan 4 is still on the way, but there might be some short funny quirks inbetween to stay loose. There’s also a really fucking exciting Girlchan collaboration that might take place very soon, but I don’t want to get into that until I know more stuff is official.

Most importantly though I’m going to be spending a lot of time on a really exciting project. JForce Games commissioned me to write, voice, and animate all the cutscenes in their upcoming Xbox Indie Game UNSTOPPABLE.

Sweet right?

I’m also going to redesign this site so I care about it more. It needs to be fun and kind of like a personal portfolio. MORE AT ELEVEN.

Episode 3 of Girlchan in Paradise has been my baby for the past month and a half and it’s so refreshing to finally see it all together. I’m SO FUCKING HAPPY with how it came out.

I will be a guest at Anime Express XII in Daytona Beach April 16th, 17th, and 18th.

The con will be held on the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University campus and it will surely be a lot of fun. I’ve always held strong to the ideal that the smaller cons are always the most fun. I get to hang out with friends and fans on a really personal level, and if you want to chill with me any of the days, just come on down.

I’ll be holding two panels as well, where I’m sure I’ll bullshit and talk about funny video game shit and talk about animating and making internet cartoons and junk. I’ll answer all kinds of questions and maybe we’ll watch some toons. You’ll only know what unfolds if you COME DOWN! If you were there for the Infinite Bits panel, you’ll know how much of a blast it was!!

Girlchan 3 will be out soon, I’m still working on it but it’s almost done. I’m trying something different with girlchan 3 (it’s prettier) so it took a little longer than I’d hoped and promised. Hope you had a great Easter!

I’ve been super busy in LA town, so the only time I go on the computer is to work, so I haven’t been around much to check things. Sorry if that bugs you, it’s just how life is, and I really haven’t had much to say. I’m just working hard.

I’ll give you some good news though, I’m going to start making Girlchan 4 immediately after I finish Girlchan 3. I’m really getting attached to Girlchan, and Tomamoto and I have a ton of ideas we couldn’t fit into Girlchan 3.

It’s the first of a series of monthly cartoons I’ll be releasing. Happy Harry and I will be slamming some awesome toons down your throats in the coming months, so hopefully you’ll be satisfied with our goodies. ;D

Next month, I promise you, will be the third episode of Girlchan in Paradise!! Are you excited? Shit, I’m stoked to finally be getting on it. Tomamoto and I had a total blast writing it, and I think it’s the funniest episode yet.

I just wanted to take a second out to say how much I love animating. You know, when I released Metal Gear Awesome, and everyone was labeling me as “an animator” and I was catching a lot of flak for it considering MGA’s obvious lack of animation in any way, I denied that title pretty strongly.

You know, being an animator usually means you want to go work for Pixar or some studio and work on someone else’s projects… I don’t like JUST animating, I love telling jokes and creating characters. I love coloring and I love cleaning up, I love writing and tossing out ideas. I’m not strictly an animator, and when I say “I love animating,” I love the entire process.

I’m not claiming I’m any good, and I’m sure there are still people who don’t consider me to be a “real animator,” whatever that means. As far as I’m concerned, drawing two pictures and swapping them real quick qualifies you as an animator. The implications of your skill level or devotion is obvious in your work, and I think it’s silly to think that any of those implications should carry on into the term “animator.”

What is gained from being elitist about animating? Maybe someone is not as good at drawing, or animating anything, but perhaps there’s some good ideas there. Execution a little off, but intentions really good. We’re all human after all, your work may reflect some things about you but it’s still just work. As long as you’re not slicing babies in half, I’m cool with you. You can be elitist about animating but I feel like you’re missing out on a lot of possibilities. You know, great ideas or even just okay ideas. Anything can inspire you, and deciding whether or not you like something before you even know what it is just silly to me.

In short, I love creating. I hope to keep doing it for a long time.

I’ve got a little time to kill while Afro’s working his mega magic on Puzzmosis, so I figured I’d slam ass on a new toon… it’s been a while and I didn’t even realize how much I was craving making a new cartoon. I’m so happy with how it’s turning out, I hope you guys like it. I’m shooting for under 2 weeks production time, so it will be SOON.

It’s going to be called “Mr. Literal.”
